Over many years now the Paralympics have become more and more important. A song to celebrate the Paralympics rhythmic percussion starts this song, and then the pace stays strong until the end. All in unison, it gives you the opportunity to concentrate on the words, diction and timing. You can use the following narration before the song if you would like:

Optional narration – prior to the song:

We have been amazed at the level of achievement from people with disabilities. We have seen swimmers with only one arm moving faster through the pool than most of us could ever manage! So now we bring you the wheelchair events with our song “Easy Rider.” This song is written for Key Stages 2 and 3 with these purposes in mind.
  1. It should be enjoyable enough for the children to want to sing it.
  2. Improving words and diction (great for literacy throughout the curriculum).
